This is the cover of Your rights and how you can have a say (Young people and the CRC Easy Read)

It is the UK Government’s responsibility to protect the rights in the CRC that keep children and young people safe and well.

Every five years, the UK Government has to report to a special Committee at the United Nations about how well it is doing to protect these rights.

In October 2015, this Committee will consider the UK Government’s report, information from the Equality and Human Rights Commission, the Children’s Commissioners, other organisations and children and young people themselves about how well their rights are being protected in the UK.

Because it is about your rights it is important that you know how this process happens and how you can be involved to make sure the important issues for young people are being heard.
