This report sets out our annual workforce diversity data from 1 April 2016 to 31 March 2017.

It covers:

  • age
  • disability
  • gender reassignment
  • marriage or civil partnership status
  • pregnancy and maternity
  • race
  • religion or belief
  • sex
  • sexual orientation

We also gather information on the experience of carers within our workplace. 

The data relates only to individuals who are directly employed by the Commission and staff who are on secondment or loan. It excludes commissioners and temporary staff.

Our workforce data forms part of the equality information that we use to help us meet our duty to stop discrimination and harassment, promote equality of opportunities and create good relations between different groups within our workforce.
