
This report looks at what equality means for migrants in Britain.
It looks at:
- equality and human rights concerns around managed migration, in particular the points-based system (PBS)
- how much data there is on migrants, to look at inequalities and discrimination by age, disability, gender, race, religion and sexual orientation
- new migrants by nationality, gender and socio-economic characteristics
- the economic effect, overall and in particular sectors
- access to and use of services
- whether migrants experience barriers or discrimination in service delivery
