The business impact target (BIT) measures the economic impact of regulation on businesses.

Every year we have to publish:

  • BIT assessments for qualifying regulatory provisions (QRPs)
  • a summary of non-qualifying regulatory provisions (NQRPs), without assessing their impact

The report is a statutory obligation under the Small Business, Enterprise and Employment Act (SBEE) 2015.

All of our assessments have been validated by the Regulatory Policy Committee. They cover the period from May 2015 to May 2017.
