A new inquiry to investigate whether changes to legal aid funding have left some victims of discrimination unable to access justice has been launched today.
The Commission's Who Runs Wales? 2017 report looks at key areas of Welsh life, including politics, local government and the private sector, to assess if those making the major decisions that affect our lives are representative of all of us who live in Wales.
Reforms to the legal aid system, the introduction of employment tribunal fees and changes to the social security system have all been highlighted as major human rights concern
The Equality and Human Rights Commission has today launched its Strategic Plan for 2016–19, setting out an ambitious programme to challenge discrimination, advance equality of opportunity, and protect and promote human rights in Britain.
