Some of Scotland’s poorest and most disadvantaged communities risk falling even further behind, a new report from the Equality and Human Rights Commission warns today.
Western Isles Education Authority (Comhairle nan Eilean Siar) has settled a case raised by the mother of a 10 year old disabled pupil, Jonathon Graham, who was left isolated because the school bus provided by the Council wasn’t accessible to him.
The Equality & Human Rights Commission in Scotland announced the agreement of a settlement with Kilmarnock FC which ensures that disabled away fans will be able to sit where they want to rather than being forced to sit apart from the away supporters.
