'Beyond One at 21': our response to the Parker Review into ethnic diversity on UK boards

We very much welcomed the Parker Review and its timely focus on increasing ethnic diversity in board appointments.

Race equality is an important issue for us.

We formally responded to Baroness McGregor-Smith’s review about developing black and ethnic minority talent in the workplace.

We also published our review of race inequality in 2016 and encouraged government to develop a comprehensive race strategy.

We encouraged the Parker Review to use our resources to ensure employers received consistent messages about fair and transparent employment practices.
