Gwelodd BT Group gyfradd dychwelyd uchel ymysg cyflogeion mewn ymateb i ymrwymiad drwyddi draw yn y cwmni i gefnogi menywod beichiog a mamau newydd.

“Mae ein cyfradd dychwelyd i fenywod ar ôl absenoldeb mamolaeth bron yn 86 y cant o’i gymharu â’r cyfartaledd cenedlaethol o 77 y cant,” eglura Marc Allera, Prif Weithredwr EE a Noddwr Rhywedd BT. “Rydym am sicrhau y gall ein pobl lwyddo gyda ni, waeth bwy ydyn nhw, a’n bod yn cadw’r doniau amrywiol bendigedig y maen nhw’n dod â nhw i’r sefydliad. Mae cefnogi menywod wrth gymryd eu habsenoldeb mamolaeth a dychwelyd i’r gwaith drwy nifer o bolisïau, mentrau a rhaglenni penodol yn rhan allweddol o hyn.”

Rydym hefyd yn cydnabod bod gwaith i’w wneud, felly rwy wedi gosod targedau amrywiaeth fewnol i sicrhau ein bod yn denu, recriwtio a dargadw'r bobl gorau posib."

“Rydym yn deall y gall dychwelyd i’r gwaith fel mam newydd fod yn ddisgwyliad cyffrous ond o bosib hefyd yn un dychrynllyd, ac nid yn lleiaf oherwydd cyflymdra noeth newid mewn unrhyw weithle. Mae’r Post Brenhinol wedi treialu ffyrdd arloesol i sicrhau bod gan bob menyw, gan gynnwys menywod beichiog a mamau newydd, fynediad at gyfleoedd perthnasol i ddatblygu eu gyrfaoedd a theimlo eu bod yn cael eu gwerthfawrogi. Mae hyn yn cynnwys arolwg rheolaidd o gyflogeion cyfredol a blaenorol sydd wedi bod ar absenoldeb mamolaeth yn ystod y pum mlynedd ddiwethaf i ddeall a dysgu o’u profiadau, ynghyd â sefydlu Grŵp Llywio Gyrfaoedd a Rhieni newydd.
