Creating a fairer Britain
The second human rights summit in Wales will be held on Monday 6 July 2009 at the Liberty Stadium in Swansea. This year’s event, The Journey of Human Rights, will explore ways to overcome the barriers associated with implementing a human rights approach in public services.
The Journey of Human Rights will build on the success of last year’s summit, when 200 delegates were shown the positive outcomes of adopting a human rights framework in public services.
Speakers will include Commissioner for Wales Neil Wooding, who will introduce the Commission’s Human Rights Inquiry report.
This event is open to individuals from across the public, private and voluntary sectors with an interest in the promotion of human rights in Wales.
The Commission is holding the event in partnership with Public Service Management Wales. For more information or to reserve your place visit the PSMW webpage on the summit or call 029 2068 1289.
