With the launch of the Equality Act on 1 October 2010 came an updated set of advice and guidance to help employers, employees, service providers, service users, education providers and students understand their rights and responsibilities under the new law.

We have updated our Advice and guidance section with new Equality Act based content and although it may no longer be relevant in most cases, we are providing an archive of the pre-Equality Act guidance for reference purposes only. You can view our up-to-date advice and guidance here.
