Creating a fairer Britain
Sunday 9 August - Thursday 13 August, Lake District
More than 90 young people from across the UK came together for our annual summer camp.
The group took part in the five day camp to learn how to build a fairer society for all. The free camp took place in the Lake District and, for many of the participants, it was the first time away from home and the first time they met people who are different from themselves.
Teenagers, aged 14 and 15, participated in a range of activities from orienteering and canoeing to intensive workshops on subjects such as diversity and leadership. This is because we wanted to equip attendees with the right skills, knowledge and passion to make a real difference in their schools and communities and to become the equality leaders of tomorrow.
