Do these real-life examples below sound familiar to you or your friends? 

  • Three Asian young women "I am on a training course to be an electrician. The teacher keeps sending me off to get sandwiches and make cups of tea whilst the young men do practical work. What can I do?"
  • "I work part-time at a supermarket and have been told that I cannot have further training because only full-timers are eligible. Is this fair?"
  • "I am getting taunted at work all the time because I wear the hijab. How can I make them treat me with respect?"
  • "I went for an apprenticeship as a nursery nurse but they said they don’t take on young men. Can they do this?"
