A mother of two autistic children describes how they, as a family, don’t feel any different and love who they are.
‘When the children were really young I found that a lot of my relationships with friends changed. And I felt they treated me differently. I felt quite alienated by it because I had not come across this before, new experience, great. I don't think we're any different but other people see us as different. We as a family love who we are.’
