Job share 3 days week / 21 hours - Maternity Cover (up to 12 months)
Salary : £26,800 (Pro-rata)
The Equality and Human Rights Commission champions equality and human rights for all, working to eliminate discrimination, reduce inequality, protect human rights and to build good relations, ensuring that everyone has a fair chance to participate in society.
The Helpline Team gives information and guidance on discrimination and human rights issues.
The postholder will provide clear leadership to the EHRC Helpline Operators and Specialists and manage the day-to-day service delivery of the Helpline Team. This team comprises of 6 Specialists and 3 Operators.
You will ideally have an understanding of human rights, equality / discrimination law or working knowledge of devolution in Wales.
You will have excellent leadership, communication and analytical skills. The successful candidate will be a strong team motivator with the ability to deal with difficult and sensitive situations in the appropriate manner.
