Elisha Lenford took part in a Young Brits at Art workshop at Rutland House School in Nottingham. Run by Scope, it educates young people with cerebral palsy and complex learning difficulties. As part of the workshop, each of the students was given a tent in which to create their own perfect worlds without prejudice. Elisha used paints to decorate the outside of her installation in ‘oranges, pinks and purple - a splatter of mess and confusion’ as well as sounds and exotic aromatic scents and smells like citrus and garumasala to create a uniquely individual and comforting personal haven, which with a mischievous sense of fun she chose to call Anarchy.
