Home care and the human rights of older people: Sign up for free seminar

Home care providers are invited to join a seminar hosted by the Commission that will:

  •  share good practice about how providers are respecting and protecting human rights
  •  explore some of the challenges to delivering home care services that protect human rights
  •  cover the role of local authorities in promoting and protecting human rights through assessment and commissioning practices
  •  propose working practices which will ensure human rights are integrated in to quality home care services
  •  offer a practical workshop of how organisations can use UKHCA’s costing model for calculating the full cost of care

The seminars follow the publication of the Commission's report 'Close to home' , an inquiry into the human rights of older people and home care. Further information is available here.
